The average June 2017 attendance decreased 12% (2,182 less fans per game) than the June 2016 per game average. In the last 11 years, only 2015, 2014, and 2007 saw lower May average attendance.
Note: if you remove the Pride Night sell out of 2016, the Rays June 2016 average was 15,840. I don't usually like removing data without inserting another average, but we have to recognize June 2016 did feature a spike in attendance due to abnormal circumstances.
